Korean Culture Night 2026

The Houston Korean Education Center 

held its Fall Semester "Korean Culture Night" 

at the Asia Society Texas Center, bringing together 

Korean language students for an evening of 

connection and tradition.

One of the evening's highlights was making 

Dongsimgyeol (동심결) — a traditional Korean knot 

whose name means "a knot that ties hearts together." 

Students explored both the artistry and 

the meaning behind this beautiful craft, 

discovering how a simple knot can 

symbolize lasting bonds and harmony.

A wonderful evening of learning, connection, and Korean tradition.
